About us

Building practical pathways for over 15 years.

Indlela Social Development NPC is a South African non-profit dedicated to empowering communities through education, skills development, enterprise development, youth employment, and sustainable livelihoods.

As a National Youth Service implementing partner and an AgriSETA- and QCTO-accredited training provider, we work alongside government, academia, the private sector, and local communities to create practical pathways that improve lives and stimulate inclusive economic growth.

Featured project

National Youth Service: OR Tambo District

A one-year service programme mobilising and employing youth across five local municipalities, funded by the NYDA.

Project overview

Through the National Youth Service, Indlela recruited, trained, and placed unemployed young people across the OR Tambo District Municipality, giving them accredited skills, meaningful work experience, and a stipend for the duration of their service year.

The programme combined community mobilisation, work readiness, and sector-specific training with structured exit support into employment, entrepreneurship, or further study.
